The hospital under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Abaarso Tech University has been preparing its facilities for any incoming COVID-19 patients. The hospital has one Swedish-manufactured ventilator, several oxygen concentrators, PPE’s and its limited supply of N95 masks. The Ministry has added 4 ventilators and several more oxygen equipment. However, we are in need of more of these equipment.
We ask all those who are interested in donating to the hospital to please contact the Ministry of Health. Time is of the urgency and we ask our fellow Somaliland citizens to help us procure more PPE’s (protective personal equipment) and N95 masks for our nurses and doctors, testing kits for our lab department and finally, ventilators for any potential in-patients.
